Endless sandy beaches and wild vegetation surround the New England artist enclave of Provincetown. Intoxicating fresh air and sea mist combine with the scents of wild berries, beach grass, wintergreen and cedar that have grown for millennia around the dunes and salty marshlands.

The candle fragrances were developed by Astier de Villatte designers and perfumer Françoise Caron who worked with a team at Takasago.

The candles are made of biodegradable vegetable wax (a mix of soy, beeswax, and plant extracts) and have cotton wicks.

The glass is hand blown in Tuscany, making each one completely unique.

• Care instructions: ensure the entire wax surface is molten each burn before extinguishing the flame. Trimming the wick after each burn prevents soot forming on the glass.
• The labels and packaging for the candles are printed by Monsieur Huin, the last typesetter in France.
